Berry & Yogurt Parfaits
A refreshing, make-ahead breakfast or brunch treat layered with creamy Greek yogurt, crunchy granola, and juicy berries.
Berry & Yogurt Parfaits
Ingredients (Makes 4 parfaits)
- 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (whole milk for creamier texture)
- 1½ cups granola Homemade Granola (or choose your favorite blend with nuts, seeds, or clusters)
- 2 cups fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional for drizzling)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish – optional)
- 4 small glasses or 8 oz mason jars
Instructions
- Wash & prep the berries.
Slice strawberries if using, and gently pat all berries dry. - Layer your parfaits:
- Start with 2 tablespoons of yogurt at the bottom of each glass or jar.
- Add 2 tablespoons of granola.
- Add a layer of berries.
- Repeat until you reach the top, finishing with a few berries and a sprinkle of granola.
- Optional:
- Drizzle lightly with honey or maple syrup.
- Garnish with a fresh mint leaf for color and freshness.
- Serve immediately for a crunchy texture, or refrigerate up to 1 day (note: granola will soften if made ahead).
Tips & Variations
- Make it dairy-free: Use coconut or almond milk yogurt.
- Kid-friendly: Use fun glass jars and let kids help with layering.
- Add-ins: Mix chia seeds, shredded coconut, or flaxseeds into the yogurt for extra nutrition.
Serve in these clear mason jars with lids for easy storage or gifting:
